Timmy is still scheduled to start playing gigs for his solo acoustic project in May 2006. Timmycappello.com will also launch around this time where his songs will be available via FREE download for your listening pleasure.
Currently, Timmy has been playing locally in the New York area at coffee houses, testing out his new music. He isn’t gigging regularly yet as he is still working on moving back into his recently renovated home, but once he does, you’ll hear about it first at UTF.
The Silver Lake Reunion gig is back! Die hard fans, be sure to mark your calendars. On July 27, 2005, Timmy will be performing with The People of Time. The guys in the band are coming in from all over the United States to play this year’s reunion gig in Silver Lake, New York. If you were at last year’s reunion gig, then you’re probably aware of how big of a success it was. So if you’re in the area or are planning a vacation in the New York area, make plans to come out and support the band!
In other news, Timmy has been working on a project for Southside Johnny. The album is a big band version of Tom Waits songs, and Timmy is performing sax duties on the album. Musically, Timmy says this is the best project he’s ever been involved in on the sax and says that the tunes are are amazing! There will be more to come on this in the future, so stay tuned.

Thanks to the free publicity in the Dallas Observer, UTF has been enjoying a welcome increase in traffic the past few weeks. We are hopefully bringing in other fans of Timmy’s out there who didn’t know about the site, and with the entirely coincidental relaunch of UTF version 4, the feedback has been tremendous. Let’s keep things moving forward by helping spread the word about UTF .
